I honestly didn't know much about the duo Hari and Sukhmani before a friend of mine made me listen to their track Challa (the Coke Studio version - damn), and boy I was hooked.
These two create electronic upbeat versions of traditional Punjabi folk songs and sing them at gigs worldwide as well as back home.
Kickass stuff.
Also, Sukhmani has a voice so powerful and pure, it never fails to give me goosebumps. Take it from someone who's heard her jam live.
They recently did a gig @ Blue Frog, Delhi and bless my stars, I was there. Here are some snippets from their power packed performance.
They are a house on fire and I am officially a major fan.
